Legal - Boundary Disputes
Boundary disputes can be a very emotive subject and positions become very entrenched leading to a complete breakdown of communication between the parties. Inevitably, the only way forward is via the legal system and ultimately the Courts. Aerial Close-up Ltd was recently put to the test when solicitor Paul Gardener retained them to take low-level aerial photographs of an area of land in dispute, and specifically the boundaries, for presentation as evidence in Court.
During the course of the trial, the other side made an application for a site visit. The Judge concluded that the costs and the delay involved were not necessary because of the detail of the photographs of the locus quo. The Judge praised the aerial photographs as being of the highest quality and clearly defined the point at issue.
Paul Gardener commented: “The Judge was very complimentary about both the concept of Aerial Close-up Ltd’s elevated photographic service and the quality of the aerial photographs. Aerial Close-up Ltd’s digital aerial photography was influential both in the findings of fact and the consequent savings of cost.
