Aerial Close-up Ltd is regularly retained by solicitors, insurance companies and the Police to photographically record the characteristics and location of the physical evidence at road traffic accident sites. 

The provision of this aerial photographic evidence increases the visual impact of any report and greatly supports the presentation of sometimes long and complex evidence in Court.  The elevated images record the road markings, layout and overall surroundings from an elevated view that cannot be achieved from photographs at ground level or by the use of a printed plan.  These aerial images can be supplied in transparency, negative, digital or video formats.

John Buller of Aerial Close-up Ltd comments: “At a recent meeting with a regional Police Force, we took along a selection of our semi-aerial photographs of the site of a fatal road accident which had occurred within their area.  These photographs had been taken several days after the accident had taken place.  The Crash Investigation Unit was very impressed with the semi-aerial images and requested copies for submission to the Coroner and also for their own files pending a possible prosecution.  They specifically asked that no identification or reference of any sort be made to Aerial Close-up Ltd on these photographs.  When asked why, they replied that for once they had a major advantage over the ‘other side’ and wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible!"
