Road Transport - Accident Blackspots

Aerial Close-up Ltd is working closely in conjunction with Arriva Risk Management and Transcare Solutions Ltd to provide a library of low-level aerial photographs of the most frequent road traffic accident sites in both Liverpool and Manchester. These aerial images are then made available on a central server for Transcare staff to refer to when a new claim is received.

Transcare Solutions Ltd commented as follows:
"The library of the low-level aerial photographs taken by Aerial Close-up Ltd provide a true picture of the locus quo and allow our claims staff to quickly check the version of events received from the third party with an aerial image of the actual road layout.

At this early stage and without leaving their desks, staff are able to speedily raise concerns as to the validity of the claim. In time, when we have logged all of the accident blackspots within the trial area then we intend to carry out the same exercise throughout the north-west region. We have only just scratched the surface as to the potential benefits of this photographic image library”.
